Geoffrey de Donjon governed the Hospitallers at Acre in the years following the Third Crusade.

Life and service to the Order
His tenure helped maintain the Order's hospital and military commitments in the remaining Crusader territories; after his death Pierre de Mirmande briefly directed it in an interim capacity.
In this period the Hospitallers maintained a hospital and defended their communities in the Holy Land. Their base shifted to Acre after the loss of Jerusalem, and to Cyprus after the fall of Acre in 1291.
